All our glamping pods are made in our Rutland workshop to order, meaning that while we have some common configurations and options it can all be customised to meet your requirements.
Below are some of the options for you to consider.

Standard widths are 2.6m, 3.0m, 3.3m and 3.5m. Note: These are the widths of the gables, so when finished the facias will generally add 200mm or so onto those widths.
Pods can be made to any length (we have built 12m long pods) but typical lengths are 3.2m, 4.2m, 5.2m and 6.0m.
Smaller pods are usually limited to one room, but with larger pods there are multiple options, below are a few common layouts:

A standard bathroom will consist of an 800mm quadrant shower with a screen and splashback, a toilet, a sink with an instantaneous hot water electric tap, a sink unit, a heated towel rail and a water-resistant vinyl tiled floor.
The extra width of a 3.3 or 3.5m wide pod will allow for a 900mm quadrant shower allowing for some more elbow room.
If the bathroom is specified to be the full width of the pod then a 1200mm rectangular shower enclosure can be accommodated.

Our kitchens are self-contained integrated units. As standard they will include a sink, instantaneous hot water electric tap, twin hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, they are 1000mm long. There are however other options that include a larger worktop size, more hobs, combination ovens. These are also available in multiple colour choices.
We can also build custom kitchens to your specification.

We have two roofing systems:
These are a traditional felt shingle tile that have been used for many years on different building types. As well as offering excellent protection from the environment they also have noise and heat insulation properties. They are available in black, green, and brown.
Our metal roof tiles are recommended for harsher coastal and exposed environments. First we use a high-performance membrane over which we lay the tiles. They are fixed from the top and bottom of the tile ensuring no matter how hard the wind blows they will not be going anywhere. These are available in black and brown.
Our doors and windows are all PVCu and double glazed. We can offer single, double and slimline double doors. There is also an option of a low threshold door for improved wheelchair access. We would usually specify them with an anthracite external finish and white inside, however there is also a wood finish if you prefer.
We offer Velux roof windows that we install with an official Velux flashing that is expertly adapted in-house to fit the curved contour of a pod.
We offer an electrical, thermostat-controlled underfloor heating system. A good option for all year round comfort.
The electrics required will depend on the size of the pod but generally this would include, internal lights, external decking lights, multiple double plugs, bathroom fan, heated taps, kitchen and fused spurs. All this is then wired to a fuse box and tested.
We have preconfigured electric packs for all our pod sizes.
The external gables and fascias will need protection from the elements, you can opt to paint the pod yourself or have it painted or stained by us.
Inside the pod we can apply a polyurethane varnish or a paint scheme of your choice.
